NEPTUNES FALL 2015 FUNDRAISING
Welcome to the Fall Maintenance Season for the Haney Neptunes!
You have provided a fundraising cheque of $50.00 to be cashed if you choose not to participate in any of our fundraisers. For any fundraising you do, your family account will be credited the appropriate amount. If you fundraise more than $50.00 in the fall, your balance will carry over into the next session, and even into the summer season. We have a bunch of opportunities to fundraise, including seasonal and ongoing initiatives. Please read on to find out what we have to offer.
BLUEBERRIES AND CRANBERRIES
Back to our club by members' request is the frozen blueberry and cranberry sale. Ask anyone who has purchased in the past - these berries are high quality.
Blueberries - 30lb box - $60.00 ($10.00 from each box goes towards your fundraising credit).

Please submit orders and payment by Saturday October 17, 2015. Pick up for berries will be Saturday October 25, 2015 at 4:30pm outside of the leisure centre. If you cannot pick up, please arrange to have someone pick up on your behalf as we have no freezer storage. Please place order and payment in a clearly marked envelope with your family and athlete's name on it my my family folder (Gander) or the fundraising folder in the blue bin. Please also send me a quick email to let me know you have left something for me - email@example.com. Cheques should be made payable to HNAC.
PURDY'S SEASONAL FUNDRAISER
Just in time for Christmas, we are happy to bring you Purdy's Seasonal Fundraiser. Check your family folder for a flyer, and share with friends, family members, and colleagues. Most people need teacher gifts, secret santa gifts, hostess gifts etc. over the Christmas Holidays, so why not make a purchase that will support the club in fundraising efforts.
It's easy! Either share the flyer provided around, or pass on the link below to friends and family. Collect orders and provide me with payment in full by Saturday November 14, 2015. Orders will be distributed on Saturday November 28, 2015 at 4:30pm at the leisure centre. Please place order and payment in a clearly marked envelope with your family/athlete's name in my family folder (Gander) or the fundraising folder in the blue bin. Please send me a quick email to let me know your order is there - firstname.lastname@example.org. Cheques should be payable to HNAC.
Dominos Pizza (Selkirk Plaza and 203rd locations) have an amazing offer through their fundraising program. Each coupon is $10 and has $120 worth of savings with Dominos, PLUS a free pizza. Also for every coupon you purchase $7.50 will go towards your fundraising amount.
If you would like some of these vouchers please drop me an email with the amount you require and place a cheque in a clearly marked envelope with your family and athletes name in my family folder (Gander) or the blue fundraising folder. Please also send me an email to let me know that your have done so - email@example.com.
There are a limited number of Panago coupons which will be available to purchase from me at $10 per coupon. Each certificate entitles the bearer to one medium Panago Pizza of their choice. Every coupon you purchase will count towards $4 of your fundraising total. At this time the numbers of coupons are limited but I intend to push for more once we are out. If you would like to purchase some of these vouchers please email me with your request and place a cheque in a clearly marked envelope (family and athlete's name please) in my family folder (Gander) or the fundraising folder. Please email me to let me know it is in the blue bin - firstname.lastname@example.org.
Accounts are set up at both the Haney Bottle Depot located at 2-22935 Lougheed Highway (east end of town) and Maple Ridge Bottle Depot located at 15-20475 Lougheed Highway (behind Shoppers and Save on Foods).
All you need to do is take your empties in, sort them, and cash them in. Let them know you are from the Haney Neptune Swim Club and have them put it under that account. You will receive a receipt with the total that you cashed in. Put your family name on the back of the receipt and the first name of your athlete. Please put all receipts in the blue communciation box at the pool. Either put them in the fundraising folder or my family folder (Gander). Please send me an email that you have put a receipt in the box - email@example.com.
This is a great way to pay off your fundraising obligations as 100% of the total for bottles returned goes towards the fundraising cheques that we hope to give back to you at the end of the session.
Haney Neptunes Swim Meet - Program and Sponsorship letters
With our Swim Meet I would like to invite and encourage all Neptunes families to participate in Fundraising through Sponsorship and Silent Auction!!!
During our Summer session only, Haney Neptunes offers its members the opportunity to fundraise by soliciting sponsors for our Haney Swim Meet. Sponsor's ads will be displayed in our swim meet program and more. You can find sponsorship forms and introductory letters to potential sponsors below. You will be credited towards your fundraising amount according to the value of the donation.
Silent Auction at the Meet
Each year Haney Neptunes Invitational Meet hosts a silent auction. Families are encouraged to create baskets from items given new to you, never used by you (still in unopened box) or items donated to you for this purpose such as an employer's logo branded clothing, etc. If you wish to donate services or crafts that is acceptable as well. The proceeds from the silent auction WILL APPLY AS 100% FUNDRAISING CREDIT!
Please note that the club will only give credit for the actual funds received from the silent auction regardless of the actual value of the item or service. Please think of a minimum bid for your basket and a "guaranteed purchase" bid.

FUNDRAISING REFFERAL - If as a member family you recruit a new family to the Haney Neptunes (any season), please have them mention your name at registration. If that family stays on with the club and joins the summer program (not including the Hammond program) or has just newly joined for summer, your family will receive a $100 credit towards your $150 summer fundraising responsibility. Please note that it is up to you to ensure your name is noted & that you follow up again with the Director of Fundraising come summer! With accurate documentation and follow-up, we will happily apply this credit.
